We are Carbon Neutral

Being carbon neutral means balancing and reducing emissions through offsetting, which can be done either by purchasing carbon credits or recovering forests in degraded areas. Transmáquinas, in order to collaborate with the Paris Carbon Neutral agreement that was signed in 2015 by 195 countries, is committed to strategies to drastically neutralize CO2 emissions, always focusing on environmental conservation. Transmáquinas' Carbon Neutral Program was created with a commitment to offsetting CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. We have replanted trees in a vast area that was previously deforested but is now preserved and cared for, in order to comply with our agreement with the competent agencies and, above all, to fulfill our commitment to the environment.
